Going The Pool!

by sara

While we do fun games and activities at CDF, we also like to take the kids into the community as a special treat. Last week we arranged a field trip to a local pool. With the help of a short term team we took 11 of the younger kids out for an afternoon of fun. One of the team members took photos of the day.

Ariel loved throwing and kicking the ball into the water

Gilmar thought the water was cold….

…but that did not stop him from hoping in

Martin had so much fun in the water. We covered his hand to keep it dry and he was really good about keeping it above the water.

We practiced doing scissor kicks in the water

After a while the kids started getting tired. Soon Erin had a bunch of friends. Krushkaya, Rubi, Gilmar

Nicol and some of the other girls played cards

Martin couldn’t stop shivering so we wrapped him up like a mummy.
