Come with us as we return to South America this summer to volunteer at La Casa De Fe, a home for abandoned and special needs children in Shell, Ecuador.

Hasta Luego… (Sara)

This morning we are off to Quito, and tomorrow we hop on a plane to head back home. We cannot believe how quickly the time has gone. It has been a good trip and we have been able to do a lot of ministry, but in so many ways it feels like we have just arrived.

Last night Erin, Luke and I went to the orphanage after dinner to say goodbye. The tias were having a song and movie night with the kids so we were able to dance and jump and play with the them. At bedtime we helped get all of them in their bunks, we said good bye to each of them individually and prayed for all of the kids. That was probably the hardest and the best part of the night.

Please be praying for safe travels for all of us to Quito today (5-hour van ride), and for our flight on Tuesday. As much as we are going to miss being here, we are also looking forward to seeing everyone at home.

There are so many stories and pictures still to share and we will continue to post here once we get home. Until later,

~Sara
